Today's Lab

Today, we have a practical period for our thermofluid. Today we got to see the separating calorimeter and throttling calorimeter. The aim for this experiment is to determine the dryness fraction of steam discharging from the boiler.

When I walk in the room , I was amazed haha, sorry a , never see before ma....

Here is some photo during the lab...

This use to control the pressure (The blue one).

Pipe lagging apparatus, where excess steam was released.

The input of the water.

Part of the system.

My classmate from left: Xiang Xiang, Zhi Ming, Firdaus, Alan , Dominic, Sen Hao.
The behind one ~~~ the most pro in class ---> Choon Seng

Full image of the input.

Pipe , for gases to pass through.

Figuring out ?!

Pass heat exchanger.

Single Stage Steam Turbine

This use to control the pressure, there is a vault up there when the pressure is too high the pressure is released from the pipe to the outside to avoid explosion.

Excess steam was released.

My group getting the reading ~~
